Michelle Eames

Michelle joined RBC in 2012. With over 12 years of trade experience with various financial institutions in Calgary, Montreal and Toronto, Michelle has worked with clients in the manufacturing, agriculture, oil and gas, ICT and clean tech sectors.

Working with external partners and organizations, Michelle assists RBC’s clients structure trade deals that minimize risk and maximize available working capital, providing guidance to avoid structural pitfalls.

Prior to taking her position as senior trade finance specialist with RBC, Michelle worked as a centre manager and program director in New York City, managing a number of loan portfolios as well as teaching financial literacy and entrepreneurship to SMEs.

Michelle, fluent in both English & French, has an undergraduate degree from Concordia University (Montreal) and an MA in International Affairs from Columbia University (New York) as well as a strong IT background.
