Maryse is a partner with the national office for Deloitte Canada and is co-leader of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Canadian Centre of Excellence, one of the nine centre members of the Global IFRS Leadership Team (GILT). She is a national subject matter authority in the field of revenue recognition as well as member of Deloitte’s Global Expert Advisory Panel on Revenue which advises GILT on all matters related to revenue.

In this role she contributes actively to coordinating the Canadian and global firm’s initiatives on this important standard, including participating in responding to the International Accounting Standards Board’s revenue proposals, development of Deloitte publications and guidance, development and facilitation of training, active involvement in consultations and formalization of the firm positions on revenue recognition issues.

Maryse was previously a partner with the Montreal Global IFRS and Offerings Services Group (GIOS), which provides accounting and advisory services, as well as services related to U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and IFRS conversion. She specialized in resolution of complex accounting issues in the fields of revenue recognition, business combinations and IFRS.

Maryse has spent the past 15 years offering accounting and consulting advice to both public and private companies.

Maryse also facilitates internal and external training in her fields of expertise. She has been a speaker at several internal and external conferences on IFRS and other topics. She contributes actively to a large number of projects including the translation of several Deloitte publications and is continuously involved in keeping up to date with the rapid pace of change in the IFRS world.
