Martha is a principal with Canada’s Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB). She has been developing government standards for over 20 years and has led PSAB’s projects on loans receivable, consolidations, long-term debt, temporary and portfolio investments, investments in government business enterprises, the senior government reporting model and tangible capital assets, the existing conceptual framework, and government transfers. Her primary responsibility is the project to review the concepts underlying financial performance in the existing conceptual framework of the Public Sector Accounting (PSA) Handbook.
