Mark Walsh

Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Prince Edward Island and a Masters of Arts (Economics) from Queen’s University. He worked at Statistics Canada from 1997 to 2000, before joining the Department of Finance in 2000. Since 2005, he has held various positions in the Tax Policy Branch, both in income and sales taxation. Mark is currently Director of the Real Property and Financial Institutions section in the Sales Tax Division.
