In 2004, he joined Suncor’s marketing group, assuming roles of increasing accountability — including leadership of Suncor’s pipeline business — before becoming vice-president of strategic planning and development in 2008.

Mark moved to his current role of vice-president, Supply & Trading, in July 2011, where he is responsible for overseeing a significant part of Suncor’s commercial activities.
