Marina is a transformative CEO, talented strategic thinker and skilled change agent with a 25-year track record of developing high-performance teams, scaling for growth, and building award winning brands and teams in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. 

She is passionate about charities and their essential role in Canada, and about building the capacity of the charitable sector through cutting-edge technology and high-quality education. Since 2013, Marina has been the president & CEO of CanadaHelps, the largest donation platform in North America and a fast-growing, technology-driven, charitable social enterprise.  Under her leadership, CanadaHelps has rapidly accelerated its growth trajectory, more than doubling the donations it facilitates for charities and dramatically expanding its software and success strategies for charities and donors. 

Marina is an in-demand public speaker and a regular contributor to publications such as the Huffington Post Canada. She’s also a member of the Canada Revenue Agency’s Charities Directorate Technical Issues Working Group, which facilitates discussion between the CRA and the charitable sector.

Marina previously worked with leading technology and media brands including Lavalife Corp, Kobo Inc, and St. Joseph’s Media, and served on a number of for-profit and charity boards and advisory committees.
