Marcel is assistant auditor general at the Auditor General of Québec. His responsibilities include financial audit of public sector entities and enterprises, information technology audit and information security.
Before joining the Auditor General of Québec, he served with a major accounting firm for several years as senior manager of financial certification and vice-president of advisory services in risk management and information technologies. He also worked in internal audit for large Canadian corporations in the manufacturing and transportation business. Marcel developed an expertise in enterprise governance, evaluation and certification of controls, and governance of information technologies. In addition to his professional activities, Marcel has been treasurer for the Autism Foundation of Quebec for several years.
He lives in Quebec City.
