Lynne Hudson

Lynne is President and CEO of the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), the largest national charitable funder of cancer research in Canada and a leading provider of information and support services.  Prior to joining CCS, Lynne served as CEO of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF). 

Lynne’s visionary leadership was instrumental in the success of the historic merger between CBCF and CCS in February 2017.  Her results-oriented approach helped guide CCS through tremendous transformational change to achieve a 28% year-over-year reduction in fundraising expenses in its first fiscal year, post-merger.

Lynne has worked in the corporate and non-profit sectors, both domestically and internationally, holding an executive leadership role at Plan International Canada, and management roles with Ernst & Young and Nortel Networks.  She has a degree in mechanical engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from the University of Miami.  In 2018, Lynne was named a recipient of the Women’s Executive Network’s (WXN) Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award.
