Laura Plant

Laura is an impact economist in PwC’s Sustainable Business Solutions team and has worked in both the PwC London and Vancouver practices. In London she was part of the team that developed PwC's Total Impact Measurement & Management (TIMM) framework that helps companies take a holistic approach to decision making, accounting for economic, tax, social and environmental impacts.

She has applied the TIMM framework across many impacts and industries, including using it to understand the social return on investment of corporate, not for profit and government activities.

She has been involved in several global initiatives looking to harmonise social and environmental impact measurement and valuation techniques. She is currently a technical advisor for the drafting of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development's Social and Human Capital Protocol.
