Larry is the director, Member Relations, with CPA Alberta. He has an extensive network of accounting professionals and over a decade of experience recruiting for companies across multiple industry sectors where strong financial leadership has enabled growth.

Larry has held various leadership roles within Robert Half International where he specialized in senior finance and accounting recruitment, placement of senior project financial professionals and executive search. In addition to his decade of recruiting expertise, Larry’s 17 years of senior level industry experience enabled him to effectively assist clients in creating high performance strategic financial leadership teams.

Larry began his professional career with Ernst & Young, where he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation and was a member of the firm’s audit, assurance and business advisory services practice.

He held senior financial and general management positions with public companies in the contract manufacturing industry supporting major customers in the commercial aviation (Boeing and McDonnell Douglas) and telecommunications (3M) industries. Larry’s industry experience also includes working with entrepreneurial private companies in the wholesale distribution industry and newly formed public companies which engineered, designed and fabricated computer controlled laser cutting systems from concept to initial technology deployment in the automotive (General Motors) and garment industries.

Larry has been active in professional and community activities throughout his career. He is currently a membership director on the FEI Canada Edmonton Chapter Board. Larry serves as chair of the FEI Canada National Member Recruitment and Retention Committee and is a director on the board. He is a past director, chair, past chair and vice-chair of the board with the Goodwill Industries of Alberta and was a committee member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta with the Members in Industry Working Group and the Merit Review Committee.
