Lance Bick

Lance is a Partner with MNP’s Taxation Services group in Red Deer.   Having more than 10 years experience, Lance works closely with clients to deliver effective tax strategies for tax minimization in corporate structuring, acquisitions and divestitures, estate and succession planning, as well as domestic compliance and assisting with audits and appeals of tax assessments.  Lance has a broad range of industry exposure but works primarily in the Oilfield Services Niche, Real Estate and Construction, and Supply Managed Agriculture.  

MNP operates as one team, integrating Assurance Services with tax planning and compliance services provided by the tax group.  In addition to domestic tax services, Lance is also the team leader in projects which provide services in the areas of indirect tax, US and international tax, Scientific Research & Experimental Development claims and succession planning services.  The one team approach leads to efficient information and response to any opportunities or issues that may arise for their clients.

In the community, Lance has volunteered as a divisional leader on the fundraising committee, as well as the scotch tasting committee for United Way of Central Alberta.  He has instructed tax through Red Deer College, and has tutored CPA In-Depth Tax II.  He is currently the past chair and secretary of the CPA Central Alberta Chapter, and has more than 10 years volunteering at the annual Golden Circle Seniors Tax Clinic.
