Kyla L. Lam

Kyla is the founder and principal at Aspire Professional Corp, a boutique CPA firm in B.C.’s East Kootenays. She and her team provide technology-forward accounting, tax, and data management services to both remote and local clients.

Kyla grew up in rural northern British Columbia, completing double degrees in environmental science and commerce from the University of Alberta. She completed her accounting designation in 2009, articling with a national accounting firm. Her career has included accounting and finance roles in both public practice and industry, founding and growing two businesses, as well as being an educator and not for profit volunteer and leader. 

Kyla is passionate about growing families, businesses, and communities. In addition to being a CPA Canada Financial Literacy volunteer, she currently serves as secretary of the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce, and recently completed a term on the executive of the Columbia Valley Community Foundation. When not dealing with numbers, Kyla, her husband, their six-year-old son and golden retriever can be found camping, skiing, hiking, biking or on some sort of adventure!
