Karen Levitt

Karen is the deputy city manager of the City of Vancouver. Her portfolio includes the city’s Business Planning internal business advisory team, the Vancouver Economic Commission, and the City’s Rethink/Rebuild Program – driving improvements to customer service, efficiencies and effectiveness throughout the organisation. She is currently also leading Vancouver’s Covid-19 Recovery Program.

Karen has held various positions at the city over the past thirty years, including director of Olympic Games Strategic Planning, deputy city treasurer, and manager of Financial Planning. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from UBC, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Alongside her professional commitments, she dedicates significant time to mentoring young adults and sitting on community boards of directors.
