Juli-ann Gorgi, CPA, CA

Juli-ann is a principal at Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), where she works in the Research, Guidance and Support Group, focusing on audit and assurance matters. Juli-ann works closely with the Advisory Group on Audit Guidance, Advisory Group on the Implementation of the Canadian Auditing Standards and the Practitioners Technical Advisory Board to develop practical, understandable, relevant and timely guidance on various audit and assurance matters.

Prior to joining the Research, Guidance and Support Group, Juli-ann spent a number of years working as staff support to the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board of Canada. Juli-ann has a passion for audit and assurance, systems and internal control. In addition to her role at CPA Canada, Juli-ann is an active alumnus of the University of Waterloo’s School of Accounting and Finance, serving as the executive secretary for seven years, guest lecturing in the MAcc program in the Advanced Auditing course, and was named, on multiple occasions, as an Honouree of the Fellowship Program of the University of Waterloo.
