John Turner

John Turner leads XBRL International, the not-for-profit standards development organization behind XBRL, the business reporting data exchange standard. A well-known advocate for and thought leader on digital reporting, he works with regulators, governments and the private sector to help the shift from a paper-based to a data-centric reporting paradigm. He has been involved in the XBRL standard, in a number of different capacities, since 1999.
