John is a senior manager with Deloitte and Touche specializing in the Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) and Ontario Interactive Digital Media (OIDMTC) tax practices. John has over 25 years of experience including 14 years as an SR&ED tax practitioner and eight years at Canada Revenue Agency (including three years in SR&ED audit). He has experience in dealing with complex tax issues for corporations in a wide variety of industry sectors, specializing in SR&ED and OIDMTC tax incentives as well as corporate tax compliance and planning.
As one of Deloitte’s most experienced SR&ED practitioners, John provides leadership in the full range of SR&ED and OIDMTC tax services including opportunity assessments, claim preparation and review, system installation and training and audit support expertise. He has extensive experience in the technology media and telecommunications, life sciences, automotive, consumer business, financial institutions and general manufacturing industries.
