Jim Cassidy

Jim is the office managing partner and audit partner-in-charge of KPMG’s London office. He has been with KPMG for more than 30 years. He has provided audit, review and accounting advisory services to Canadian controlled, multinational, private and public companies in a number of industries including healthcare, transportation, technology, financial services, manufacturing and distribution.

Jim has more than 30 years of experience providing audit services to a variety of public and private companies, reporting in accordance with Public Sector Accounting Standards, Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations, Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Companies and International Financial Reporting Standards. He has worked proactively to support his clients as they contemplated and executed on strategic growth strategies.

Prior to joining KPMG’s London office in 2003, Jim spent 15 years in the Mississauga office and four years in the financial institutions and real estate practice in the downtown Toronto office of KPMG. During his time in Toronto, Jim was the leader of the pension practice and investment management and funds practice as part of the financial services group in Toronto. In this capacity, he was a member of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada’s Accountants Advisory Committee and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario’s Pension Accounting and Advisory Committee. Presently, Jim is a member of KPMG’s Canadian firm Pension Plan Board of Directors and serves as chair.
