Jennifer Tang
Jennifer Tang is a Senior Manager in the Complex Accounting and Disruptive Events Advisory practice of Deloitte LLP in Calgary and specializes in transactional events such as merger and acquisition activities, divestitures, IPOs and regulatory filings or changes. Jennifer advises companies on complex accounting matters under US GAAP and IFRS, and partners with companies to execute and integrate strategic transactions.
Jennifer brings over ten years of finance experience working with public companies, primarily in the energy and resource and technology space. Her experience includes GAAP conversions, implementation of new accounting standards, financial reporting assistance (including fulfillment of management roles, preparation and review of financial statements, management reporting packages, pro-forma and carve-out financial statements), and the implementation and optimization of process, controls and technology. Jennifer also facilitates internal and external training sessions on technical accounting matters with respect to US GAAP, IFRS and SEC matters.
