Jason Cooper

Jason is the North America head of indirect tax with Aon, a global provider of risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage services. In this role, he deals exclusively with indirect taxes including provincial premium taxes, retail sales taxes and Federal Excise Tax.

Jason has spoken on indirect taxes at many events, including events hosted by the Canadian Insurance Accountants Association (CIAA), the Life Office Management Association (LOMA), The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) and the Council for International Tax Education.

Prior to joining Aon, Jason was with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he specialised in the application of indirect taxes to the financial services industry.
