Geoff Gatien

Geoff has been the controller of Nova Scotia since January 2014. He has worked in various financial reporting positions with the Department of Finance and Treasury since joining the Province in 2004. Prior to entering the public sector he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for nine years. In addition to being the controller of Nova Scotia, he holds various other director and officer positions with provincially controlled entities, is a trustee of the Nova Scotia Public Service Long-Term Disability Plan Trust Fund, and serves on the Public Sector Accounting Board's Public Sector Accounting Discussion Group.
