Fred Pries

Fred has been a member of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board since 2012.

He’s an associate professor in the Department of Business at the University of Guelph. Fred teaches primarily in the areas of accounting, entrepreneurship and innovation management. Prior to joining the academic community, Fred was a partner at KPMG LLP. At KPMG, he spent almost 10 years in the national office for the Canadian practice where he dealt with complex accounting, auditing and professional ethics issues.
