Doug Bain

Doug is a CPA and a proud alumnus of St Mary’s University. He has specialized in Indirect Tax for over 15 years. He is The Indirect Tax Manager at Plains Midstream Canada and manages a great team who specializes in numerous areas of Indirect taxes in Canada and the US. Doug is presently a Chairperson on the CAPP Sales and Indirect Tax Committee and is on the American Petroleum Institute (API) Excise Tax Committee. He also volunteers with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, in Calgary. He is married with two wonderful children and loves to travel, hike and ski.
