Denis St-Pierre

Denis is a tax partner at EPR Bathurst in Bathurst, New Brunswick. He started his career with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), where he worked for six years, mainly in collections, audit and internal audit. He then spent two years at a large accounting firm before joining EPR in 2002. Denis specializes in estate planning and owner-manager tax minimization. He often assists clients – and sometimes law firms – in dealing with the CRA. Denis is a recurring speaker at Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF) events, and has facilitated CTF tax symposiums in the Atlantic provinces and nationally.

He has also served on the organizing committee of CTF’s Atlantic Regional Tax Conference and, more recently, CTF’s National Conference. He was a speaker at CPA Canada’s National Conference in 2013 on income taxes and chaired a CPA Canada legacy organization’s tax advisory group. Denis is now a member of CPA Canada’s Small and Medium Practitioners Tax Committee as well as a current governor of Canadian Tax Foundation Board of Governors.

Denis graduated from the University of Moncton with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). He completed CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Course and was awarded the title of Fellow (FCPA) in 2013.
