Debra Osiowy

Debra is the Chief Financial Officer for the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta where she guides strategy and oversees financial operations, human resources and IT.  As a CPA with over 25 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector, Deb has held leadership roles in education, post-secondary, and foundations.  She believes that information systems empower not-for-profit organizations to streamline operations, enhance sustainability, and provide leaders and Boards with the information they need to build successful organizations.

Debra obtained her Bachelor of Administration at the University of Regina and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990.  A life-long learner, she has completed the CFO Leadership Course, the Community Shift Executive Program at the Ivey School of Business, and the ICD Not-for-Profit Governance Essentials Program.  Deb is an active volunteer in Calgary and currently sits on the Board for Next Step Ministries and the Finance Committee for the Diocese of Calgary.
