David F. Cameron

David is partner, Taxation, at Collins Barrow Nova Scotia Inc. He is an experienced tax practitioner and trusted business advisor who specializes in Canadian taxation, with a particular emphasis on privately held companies of all sizes and types, and in various industries. He also provides tax compliance and planning services for owner-managers, executives, other high net worth individuals, and trusts and estates.

David has over 20 years of total experience in public accounting, including more than 15 years as a full-time tax practitioner. He has also worked in industry for 2.5 years, primarily in a lead role as director of taxation for a large private held corporate group.

David has completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, and is a regular presenter / lecturer in the CPA Nova Scotia professional development program. He has also drafted tax policy submissions to both the Nova Scotia and federal Governments.
