Dale Beugin

Dale is executive director of Canada's Ecofiscal Commission, a panel of some of Canada's top economists, with a mandate to identify policies that make economic and environmental sense. Dale has deep expertise and experience in environmental economics and policy, in particular carbon pricing.

Prior to working with Ecofiscal, he has consulted for governments and organizations across Canada and internationally. He also worked as a policy advisor with the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy. Dale holds a master's degree in resource and environmental management from Simon Fraser University, and bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
