Cynthia Leblanc

Cynthia assumed the role of deputy assistant commissioner of the Assessment and Benefit Services Branch (ABSB) at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) in June 2014. She began her career with the CRA in field operations at the Sudbury Tax Centre, taking on progressively more senior roles. Her career has also included positions as regional account executive for Provincial/Territorial Relations, regional director of Human Resources, director general of Benefit Programs and director general of Business Transformation.

Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Arts from Laurentian University, a Masters of Public Administration from Dalhousie University, is a graduate of the Stanford University Executive Program and recently completed Ottawa University’s Public Sector Leadership and Governance Program.
