Jared Burns

Jared Burns holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Mount Allison University. He obtained his chartered accountant (CA) designation in 2012 and has completed the CPA In-depth Taxation curriculum and has completed level I of the chartered financial analyst (CFA) program.  

Jared worked in tax advisory services for several years at two multinational accounting firms before joining Louibsourg in 2016. At Louisbourg Investments, he is the Manager of Tax and Estate Planning where he works with their investment team, clients, and other professional service providers to identify tax and estate planning opportunities custom to their unique circumstances and needs.

Jared oversees the firm's compliance function and ensures that Louisbourg consistently abides by the highest industry standards in their regulatory responsibilities helping to ensure maximum investor confidence.

Jared’s community involvement includes: He was the treasurer of the Moncton Sunrise Rotary Club, is a participant of the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), a Financial Literacy Volunteer, a committee member for the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament and actively supports various charitable causes.
