Candace Sears

A Senior Manager in KPMG’s Fredericton office, Candace focuses her practice on private companies and cross border tax matters with clients operating in every continent except Antarctica.  She emphasizes helping New Brunswickers find success at home and abroad.

Her expertise includes transitioning family owned businesses, estate planning, corporate reorganizations, and US and Canadian tax compliance for individuals and corporations.

She gives back to the NB community by volunteering with the Fredericton and Canadian Chambers of Commerce, Junior Achievement NB, Harvest Jazz and Blues, Energia Ventures, and Ignite Fredericton’s Export Igniter Program.

Passionate about inspiring and creating new tax practitioners, Candace is a professor at the University of New Brunswick, a national lead and content developer for the CPA PREP program, and a facilitator for the CPA PEP program and the In-Depth Tax program.
