Catherine Scott

Catherine has been Director General, Community Development and Homelessness Partnerships Directorate at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) since 2015. Catherine leads the team that provides policy direction for the Homelessness Partnering Strategy and was the co-chair of a stakeholder Steering Group supporting the Government of Canada in the development of a Social Innovation and Social Finance Strategy. Catherine has been an Executive within ESDC since 2009 and has worked in a number of other federal departments and on issues as diverse as labour market policy, official languages and regulatory reform.
