Brian Drayton

Brian is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA), partner and leader of the audit practice in MNP LLP’s Regina office. He has over 35 years of experience providing services to large and medium-size businesses, as well as crown corporations. Brian has spent most of his career serving and advising private enterprises. This includes external audit, internal audit assistance, corporate governance, enterprise risk, forensic reviews and other business advisory services.

Brian is heavily involved in the community and the profession, currently acting as chair of the Accounting Standards Board (AcSB)’s Private Enterprise Advisory Committee and immediate past president of the Regina and District Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the AcSB, serving on the “front line” of accounting standards developments in Canada. He is a past president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan, a past president of the Saskatchewan Arthritis Society, and a former Director of the Chartered Accountants School of Business for Western Canada.

Designated in 1981 after earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1979, Brian received his Fellow designation in 1998.
