Brenda Belliveau

Brenda is the managing partner and tax leader for PwC in Atlantic Canada. She is also a member of PwC’s Canadian Tax Leadership Group.

Brenda has been practicing tax for 18 years, specializing in Canadian corporate taxation, and has extensive experience in tax compliance and planning, Canada Revenue Agency audit defense, and transaction support, including due diligence and structuring.

Brenda is passionate about her clients and believes in the importance of understanding the businesses they operate, which has translated into strong and lasting relationships. She is known for her client-centric, versatile approach and for challenging her teams to “make life easy” for the firm’s clients. Brenda promotes this consistent level of service across the Atlantic region.

Brenda began her career in Halifax. She then spent four years in Ottawa leading PwC’s National Capital Region Tax practice before coming back to Halifax in 2015.

Brenda graduated with a BCom from Saint Mary's University in Halifax. She’s a CPA, CA and has completed Parts I, II and III of CPA Canada's In-Depth Tax Program.
