Annie Smargiassi

Annie holds the position of senior advisor — Assurance and Financial Accounting, Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA Québec).
Her main responsibilities include providing assurance and financial accounting technical reference services, in addition to heading technical and sector-specific working groups reporting to CPA Québec's vice-president of Professional Development. She is involved in reviewing and surveying CPA needs in her sector, as well as creating a professional development program in assurance and financial accounting and setting its direction.
Annie serves as an observer on the Audit of Less Complex Entities Advisory Group and the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AASB) Compilation Task Force.
