Andrew Francis

Andrew currently leads the finance team at Canadian Heritage, a dynamic job which includes being at the forefront of grant and contribution service delivery and procurement and materiel management. Prior to this, he held director general level jobs in resource management at Indigenous and Northern Affairs and later corporate accounting (deputy chief financial officer). His career has spread across other departments including Natural Resources, Agriculture and Treasury Board Secretariat.

Andrew attended university in Ottawa, completing both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters of Business Administration from Carleton University. He also holds the CPA-CMA (Chartered Professional Accountant), PFA (Chartered Public Finance Accountant) and CIA (Certified Internal Audit).
