Andrea Pryde

Andrea is an associate technical director at the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), and is responsible for standard-setting activities other than financial instruments. Andrea has contributed to a number of technical projects at the IASB, most recently leading the development of the new standard on insurance contracts. Before joining the IASB in 2002, she worked in Andersen’s audit practice in London. Andrea qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales after graduating with a first-class honours degree in Chemical Physics from Edinburgh University.
