Alexandre Ajami, LLB

Alexandre is an intellectual property and information technology lawyer and partner in the Montreal office of Miller Thomson. His practice includes trademarks, copyright and licensing. He has assisted clients in a variety of industries including the franchising industry, the computer industry, the cultural sector, as well as manufacturers. He has developed a good knowledge of the agriculture and food production sector as he represents many businesses working in this industry.

He has extensive experience in assisting clients to acquire, protect, license, exploit and enforce intellectual property rights. Alexandre’s practice includes trademark opposition proceedings and expungement proceedings, as well as negotiating and drafting trademark, copyright, technology and software licences, publishing contracts and franchise agreements.

As a registered trademark agent, Alexandre has experience in obtaining trademark protection in Canada as well as working with foreign firms around the world in securing such protection, including in the United States and Europe.
