Albert is a tax partner and national leader of the Global R&D/Government Incentives group.

He has more than 30 years of experience advising high tech companies and innovative manufacturers. He advises Canadian companies and multinationals on matters relating to their innovation investments in Canada and globally, including cost-sharing agreements, intellectual property transfers and optimization of related incentives. More recently he has focused on attracting foreign direct investments to Canada.

Albert advocates for more industrial innovation and is active with relevant organizations in proposing and promoting relevant government policies. As member of ministerial innovation committees he has advised finance and industry on topics strategies related to innovation and research and development. He currently presides the board of the Québec Research Institute or ADRIQ (Association pour le développement de la recherche et de l’innovation du Québec).
