Building on the corporate reorganization concepts introduced in In-Depth Tax, this intermediate in-residence course covers the most recent technical amendments, current issues, techniques and strategies for corporate reorganizations.

Delve into detailed, technical tax rules and learn to identify tax planning opportunities for your clients or organization. You will also explore the top methods for effecting corporate purchases, sales and restructuring.

The Department of Finance’s July 18, 2017 proposals regarding the taxation of Canadian private corporations will be addressed at the 2017 offering of this course.

Participants are required to live in-residence during the course. Your accommodations will be pre-booked on your behalf by CPA Canada. Participants are responsible for settling accounts (e.g. daily rate for accommodation, meal/meeting package, and incidentals) directly with the hotel when checking out.
