Eileen is principal of Big Cheese Coaching and a champion for personal, professional and organizational success and wellbeing. Through coaching, workshops and consulting, she promotes leadership development, communications, employee engagement and corporate culture, personal and professional resiliency, and career management. Eileen brings a multi-disciplined focus to her work, drawing from diverse fields including emotional intelligence, positive psychology, neuroscience — and now, the emerging field of Conversational Intelligence®(C-IQ®).

Eileen is certified as both an executive coach and a business communicator. She has earned credentials as an Adler Certified Professional Coach (ACPC) and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), an advanced coaching credential from the International Coach Federation. She is certified in both the BarON EQ-i 2.0® and EQ360 emotional intelligence assessments and was among the first cohort of professional coaches to be trained as a core skills coach in Conversational Intelligence®. Eileen is a recipient of an International Coach Federation Prism Award, which recognizes excellence in leadership and performance coaching.

As an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC), Eileen has 20+ years of experience as a communications professional. Since 1998, she has successfully operated her own communications consulting firm, Chadnick Communications, and, prior to that, held various senior-level communications roles with two of Canada’s leading PR agencies (Hill and Knowlton and Environics Communications), a Canadian bank and a financial services payments association. Over the years, Eileen has served a wide roster of top tier clients in financial services, business and consumer products, education and other sectors.

Eileen is the author of the book Ease: Manage Overwhelm in Times of Crazy Busy. She has also been a regular contributor to the Globe and Mail’s career section since 2007.

Eileen earned a Bachelor of Education from McGill University, majoring in fitness (which she taught for many years), as well as a marketing certificate.
