2023 Federal Budget Webinar (Mar 29, 2023)
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Chrystia Freeland tabled this year’s federal budget on March 28, 2023. Watch CPA Canada’s webinar in English and French to better understand the most important tax measures contained in this year’s budget. CRA Update on Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program
(December 2, 2022)
CPA Canada co-hosted a webinar with the CRA to review updates to the SR&ED program. In this session, the CRA provided an overview of the program and highlighted upcoming initiatives that will transform it. They also reviewed some of the most common trends seen on the field and answered some of the top questions heard from CPA Canada's SR&ED Committee.

In-Depth Corporate Reorganizations (Calgary – October 15-19, 2023)
Building on the corporate reorganization concepts introduced in In-Depth Tax, this intermediate in-residence course covers the most recent technical amendments, current issues, techniques and strategies for corporate reorganizations. This course will take place in-person in Calgary in 2023. 

In-Depth GST/HST Program – Part 1 (Online – September 25, 2023 to November 30, 2023)
The In-Depth GST/HST Program, designed for serious indirect tax professionals in Canada, is the industry standard for training. In Part I, you will develop foundational knowledge and skills to navigate various indirect tax issues. NOTE: The fall 2023 course has reached capacity. In-Depth International Tax (Mont Tremblant, QC – November 5-9, 2023)
Building on the international tax concepts covered in the In-Depth Tax Program, this in-residence course expands on the basic issues surrounding the taxation of foreign operations. You will learn about the most effective planning strategies to minimize tax for businesses that have expanded, or are considering expansion, outside of Canada.

Income Tax for the General Practitioner (Mont Tremblant, QC – October 15-20, 2023)
This in-residence course provides an overview of the foundational elements of, and highlights critical issues in, current tax legislation that general practitioners commonly encounter and need to understand.
