CPA evaluation: The May 2016 CPA PEP Capstone 1 case

The CPA PEP Capstone 1 case relates to Day 1 of the Common Final Examination. This Capstone 1 Case is used in the May 2016 version of the module.

To complete the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP), you must complete six modules: two core modules, two elective modules, and two capstone modules. The capstone modules are culminating courses; in them you demonstrate what you have learned over the course of the CPA PEP. Both modules are common to all CPA candidates, and are taken after successful completion of the core and elective modules.

CAPSTONE  MODULES:

  • Capstone 1 module: You will complete a large business case, which relates to Day 1 of the Common Final Examination (CFE).
  • Capstone 2 module: There will be no module-specific examination since it immediately precedes the national Common Final Examination. This module prepares you for the CFE.
