You can make a valuable difference to the CPA profession and help the next generation of accountants by being a CPA marker. CPA Canada hires markers throughout the year to evaluate module examinations in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP). Marking positions are available in English and French; bilingual markers are preferred. CPA CFE We will be holding the Common Final Examination (CFE) evaluation centre in Montreal. There are five marking sessions noted below. Day 3 simulations will be marked remotely. Day 1: October 5-18, 2018 Day 2 Assurance Role: October 3-16, 2018 Day 2 Performance Management Role: October 5-15, 2018 Day 3 Common Assessment Opportunities (Financial Reporting): October 5-18, 2018 Day 3: October 7-22, 2018 (Remote) Compensation: Day 1 and Day 2 Assurance and Common: $5400, plus applicable expenses Day 2 Performance Management: $4200, plus applicable expenses Day 3: Flat fee and a fee per case (TBD) If you are a CPA member in good standing and want to play a role in this important process, please: Complete the CFE marker application form Email the form to email@example.com Applications will not be accepted after July 30, 2018. CPA PEP module-end examinations Marking commitment: A minimum 24-hour commitment for live marking plus an 8-hour training day per marking session is required. All training and marking are done remotely. Compensation: Remuneration is based on a fee per case marked (ranges from $10 to $15/case). A rate of $60 per hour is paid for arbitration papers. A flat rate is paid for mandatory preparation and training time.
