Become a marker for the CPA certification program

Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) is looking for a few good markers for the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP). If you’re interested, here’s what you need to know.

You can make a valuable difference to the CPA profession and help the next generation of accountants by being a CPA marker. CPA Canada hires markers throughout the year to evaluate module examinations in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP). Marking positions are available in English and French; bilingual markers are preferred. You can find out more about upcoming modules, their respective examination dates as well as marking centre dates by viewing the marking schedule. 

CPA PEP module-end examinations

Marking commitment:

  • A minimum 24-hour commitment for live marking plus an 8-hour training day per marking session is required.
  • All training and marking are done remotely.

Compensation:

  • Remuneration is based on a fee per case marked (ranges from $10 to $15/case).
  • A rate of $60 per hour is paid for arbitration papers.
  • A flat rate is paid for mandatory preparation and training time.
